Candace Castillo is a Graphic Designer based in California.
She is a creative, independent, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with four years of experience in Branding, Advertising, Editorial, UX/UI, and knowledge of Web Design. Highly skilled in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Candace Castillo graduated with honors in 2023 from Cal State Fullerton obtaining two degrees, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic and Interactive Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with an Advertising Concentration. She has done projects involving branding, advertising, logos, physical mockups, packaging, posters, UX/UI, photography, video, illustration, social media, print/digital assets, and visual marketing.
Candace also has a passion for the advertising world. She interned with PopShorts an advertising social media campaign company creating designs for social media posts via Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. She has also created advertising campaign projects during her education at Cal State Fullerton that involved products, events, and OOH (Out of Home) advertising.
Her most recent work was for CSUF Student Wellness as a Graphic Design Student Assistant. She worked on numerous projects involving different campus partners and spent her year at Student Wellness learning the healthcare side of design. Her design tasks involved social media posts, videos, and print/digital assets. Candace was also given the opportunity to train new student assistants joining the Student Wellness team.
